I've been cosplaying for around a year now.
I got into it because I was into anime and manga first. Kuros---suji - Yana Toboso, being the first manga/anime that I can really remember enjoying the most because a friend introduced me to it. Yeah, newbie, guilty as charged. So then I saw people dressed as the characters while surfing the web for it one day and I was like 'I want to do that too!'.
